Al's Garage Pizza
A garage pizzeria with a story you can taste.
Visit the live siteAl's Garage Pizza is exactly what it sounds like — hand-tossed pizza and NY-style cheesecake made in a family garage, sold to regulars they know by name. The website had to carry that personality without losing the practical stuff people actually came for.
The challenge
A small home operation competes on charm, not scale. The site needed to feel authentic and genuinely appetizing — but a great story is worthless if a hungry visitor can't instantly find the menu, the hours, and how to order.
What I built
A site that leans all the way into the story, then gets out of the way when it's time to order.
- A hero and "Our Story" section built around family recipes and small-batch pride
- A full menu with pricing: pizzas, NY cheesecakes, Italian heroes, lasagna, garlic bread
- A behind-the-scenes gallery of dough, bakes, and finished plates
- A "Visit & Order" block with address, hours, and phone front and center
- A warm, homey aesthetic anchored by the "Cooked with Love" voice
The outcome
A site that turns a garage operation into a real brand — appetite first, credibility right behind it. It feels like the place, before you've even tasted the pizza.
